I’m a 3rd Generation San Franciscan. My godfather is Cecil De Loach, former owner of DeLoach Vineyards. He and his wife Christine are the current owners of the Hook and Ladder. I spent Christmas and Summers at the Olivet Rd. Vinery. I step in a nail when they were building the main house. John De Loach, Cecil’s youngest son carried to my dad and then they pulled the board and nail out of my foot. My father and Cecil where best friends from Lincoln High School in San Francisco. They were both Virgo’s and only children. As a small child, my sister and I would ride horses and feed chickens at the small farm behind the house. These were my favorite times of my life. Christine taught me to drive when my father gave up. She helped me buy my prom dress. Fast forward to now I’m a mother of four grown children, I own two businesses and adding this one on top of that. I love drinking wine, I have trained under the Ritz Carlton Soumollier for 2 years, I have been drinking wine for 30 years and consider my palate refined. I created the Napa Valley club to share my love for wine and people. Plus how can I turn down free wine? My mom asked me to join this wine club with here and I was happy to say yes.
