Napa Valley Wine Club

Napa Valley Wine Club,

I’m a 3rd Generation San Franciscan. My godfather is Cecil De Loach, former owner of DeLoach Vineyards. He and his wife Christine are the current owners of the Hook and Ladder. I spent Christmas and Summers at the Olivet Rd. Vinery. I step in a nail when they were building the main house. John De Loach, Cecil’s youngest son carried to my dad and then they pulled the board and nail out of my foot. My father and Cecil where best friends from Lincoln High School in San Francisco. They were both Virgo’s and only children. As a small child, my sister and I would ride horses and feed chickens at the small farm behind the house. These were my favorite times of my life. Christine taught me to drive when my father gave up. She helped me buy my prom dress. Fast forward to now I’m a mother of four grown children, I own two businesses and adding this one on top of that. I love drinking wine, I have trained under the Ritz Carlton Soumollier for 2 years, I have been drinking wine for 30 years and consider my palate refined. My monthly LRP includes mouthwash, toothpaste, shampoo, and conditioner.Ā  I have a big family. and personal care like the Deep blue rub is always on our monthly LRP order, the On-guard drops and ginger and lemon drops, both beadlets ordered regularly. Laundry detergent all on guard all smell like apple pie. Why use the wool dryer balls? Because it cuts drying time down by half and provides jobs for women in Nepal. Best fo all you save money you help the planet and you cut back on buy chemicals. I try to buy everything locally.

When it comes down to it “NO BRAINER”. So how big of a kit do you want? What’s else is there? I did say something about percentages and rewards points? Yes, every time you order under Loyalty Rewards Points, they will give you points for any orders over 50 at 5% at the smallest kit level, so next month you would have 2.5 rewards points, that is on a small scale on the higher end I make 30% back or 30 points per 100pv.

So the larger kit or fast track kit will start you higher in the percentage sooner.

All oils have the same dollar value as PV.

When I order Lemon oil it is 12PV. and $12 but when I ordered On Guard Laundry detergent it $27.50 but only 20PV. That’s important because if you want rewards points it has to be 50 PV in one order to qualify. You can change the date and items anytime you like. Clementine essential oil comes from the fruit of the Citrus Clementina tree. This tree is a hybrid of the mandarin orange and the sweet orange trees. It is believed that the first clementine tree grew spontaneously in an Algerian garden in the late 19th century. It was then introduced to California where several different varieties were cultivated. Today, clementines are grown throughout the world and are valued for their sweet taste in addition to the aromatic essential oil that comes from the rind.

What Makes Clementine Different?

Clementines are distinctive among the plants of the Citrus genus. Clementines are more tolerant of temperature variation and donā€™t need as high heat as other citrus plants. This means they can grow in areas with more moderate temperatures. Along with the unique harvesting factors of the tree, Clementine essential oil has a distinct aroma that is similar to Wild Orange but with subtle Lemon notes. Dorothy Metzger Obit.

Dorothy Metzger, 84

POWAY – Dorothy aka Dorothea Mae (Foss) Metzger, 84, died Thursday, Nov. 9, 2006, at Pomerado Hospital.

Born April 24, 1922, in Berkeley, she lived in Poway for 31years. She served in the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1946 as a NavyWAVE, retiring as an SK3C. She was an AKC dog handler and dog show judge for many years.

Mrs. Metzger was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin J.Metzger; parents Harry W. and Rose J. Foss; and sister ElizabethHarrower. She is survived by her sister, Dee Lemons; and cousin Maxine Dutro.

No services will be held at the request of the deceased.

The family suggests donations in her name to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or the American Cancer Society.

Neptune Society is handling arrangements.
